Port Royal, Jamaica
In 1692, an earthquake demolish the city of Port Royal and sink to the bottom of the Caribbean sea. Port Royal is a city of the Caribbean pirates are now under the Port of Kingston, Jamaica.
Archaeological team discovered the ruins in 1981, some of which are still fairly intact so it can be saved. In addition to being a tourist destination, the underwater city is also still a subject of study for scientists who study the origin of the Caribbean in the 17th century.
